E-mobility
Parking App

User experience improvements for an existing e-mobility service provider that offers convenient access to all public charging stations in Germany and 30 other countries. With one app, the operator offers access to any public charging station.

Work flow

Together with a researcher, I held 7 moderated user interviews focused on the questions: What features do you miss in the app and what bothers you in the current version of the app?

I moderated interviews, note-taking, and research synthesis. After interviews were complete, I prioritized the findings to help guide the next round of design iterations.

Ideation

After conducting user interviews, I compiled different ideas for improvement based on a priority matrix. I also added an idea on how to increase customer participation in the long-term.

I have enhanced the app's usability, ensuring that important screens are easily accessible and intuitive. Introducing new features and improvements have led to increased customer participation and set the stage for the long-term expansion of the app's core ideas.

Idea Statement

After consulting with test users and thinking about how to increase customer participation, I came up with the idea to add user written reviews. These could include ratings as well, with predefined topics.

Creating top reviewers and offering discounts or other promotion would be a good way to encourage users to participate.
